BE Accounting (operated by Brian Eghbali, CPA) — referred to as "we", "us", or "BE Accounting" — respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit bookswithbe.com or contact us, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect

We only collect information you submit voluntarily through our contact form:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • State, company name, company website (optional)
  • Annual revenue range (optional)
  • Whether you use QuickBooks Online (optional)

We do not use cookies for tracking, run analytics scripts, or set advertising identifiers on this site.

How we use it

We use your information solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Discuss bookkeeping services and provide a quote
  • Schedule consultations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Service providers

To run this website and respond to inquiries, we use the following third-party services. They process information only as needed to provide their service:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, spam protection via Turnstile)
  • Resend (email delivery for contact form submissions)

When the contact form is submitted, your information is transmitted via Resend so it reaches our inbox. Cloudflare Turnstile may briefly check that your submission is not from an automated bot.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are kept in our email inbox for as long as we may need to provide service or respond to follow-up questions. You can request deletion at any time by emailing brian@bookswithbe.com.

Your rights

If you are a California resident (under CCPA) or in the European Economic Area (under GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request that we delete your information
  • Opt out of any future communications from us
  • Receive a copy of the information we have about you

To exercise any of these rights, email brian@bookswithbe.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Submissions are transmitted encrypted to our email provider. While no method is 100% secure, we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
