About Brian

A CPA who actually does your bookkeeping.

I'm Brian Eghbali, a Los Angeles–based CPA. Big Four–trained at Ernst & Young and currently preparing taxes for small businesses, I've seen what happens when bookkeeping is treated as an afterthought.

It gets fixed at the last minute—usually under pressure.

I built my service to eliminate that.

Monthly bookkeeping with CPA-level review from the start—so your numbers are accurate, your reports actually make sense, and tax season runs clean, not chaotic.

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant
  • Direct access to me — not a junior bookkeeper
  • Monthly reports you can actually understand
  • Books that are tax-ready every quarter, not just in April

What makes us different

Most bookkeepers aren't CPAs. I am.

Bookkeeping services typically hand off messy books to your CPA at year-end — and you pay extra for cleanup. With me, you get monthly bookkeeping AND CPA-level review in one engagement. Your books are reviewed and finalized by a licensed CPA every quarter, so they're always tax-ready and audit-ready.

CPA-reviewed every quarter

Not just a bookkeeper checking their own work.

One contact, one accountable person

You work directly with me — no handoffs, no "let me check with the team."

Tax-ready year-round

When tax season comes, your books are already done. No scramble, no cleanup fees.

✦ Limited offer

Free 30-minute consult.

No commitment, no sales pitch. We'll review your current books, identify what's working, and figure out if we're a fit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be in Los Angeles to work with you? +
No — I work with small business owners across the country. Everything is virtual: secure document sharing, video calls, and cloud-based bookkeeping software. Being in LA is just where I'm based.
What accounting software do you use? +
I primarily work in QuickBooks Online, but I'm happy to work with Xero, Wave, or whatever system you're already using. If you're not on anything yet, I'll set you up.
How is this different from a regular bookkeeper? +
Regular bookkeepers hand off your books to a CPA at year-end — and you usually pay the CPA again to clean up the bookkeeper's work. With me, you get both in one engagement. Every set of books I deliver is reviewed and finalized by a licensed CPA.
What if my books are months (or years) behind? +
That's fine — catch-up bookkeeping is a regular part of what I do. I'll get you current and then keep you there with monthly bookkeeping. Most catch-ups take 2–4 weeks depending on volume.
How quickly can we get started? +
Usually within the same week of our consult. Onboarding takes 2–3 days once you've granted account access.
Do you also do my taxes? +
I focus on bookkeeping with CPA review — meaning your books are tax-ready when you hand them to your tax preparer. If you don't have one, I can refer you to CPAs I trust for tax filing.
